Ongoing Innovation #3D Printing #Concept #Materials #Space Exploration #Electronics #Laser Cutting #Composites****By developping a prototype, students of the Gruyère Space Program (GSP) association, developped entrepreneurial skills inculding managing human resources, managing budget, looking for partnerships and sponsors, managing tight time constraints, proactively seeking solutions to complex problems, managing knowledge and many other.. The GSP developped their first prototype - the first of its kind worlwide developped by students - with the support of the MAKE prototyping network including workshops and expertise from the coaches.
On October 1st 2024, the GSP became an official EPFL spin-off. They are developping high-end prototypes to support the growing industry of space exploration and industry. In particular, they build a hopper, a rocket capable of taking-off and landing on its own, making the rocket reusable for many flights.
