Founded in 2016, the team enables students to turn classroom knowledge into real-world aerospace projects. The mission is to engage students in hands-on work fostering innovation and collaboration, with the goal of reaching space by the end of the decade. The team is currently working on four projects, each advancing different aspects of rocketry.
One of the key projects is competing in international competitions like EuRoC, where the team design, build, and launch rockets capable of carrying scientific experiments to altitudes between 3,000 and 9,000 meters. Nearly every component is crafted by the students, providing invaluable real-world experience in rocket development.
Hyperion is another key initiative focused on developing in-house bi-liquid rocket engines. As the association's "motorist", Hyperion aims to equip the rockets with advanced propulsion technology, moving closer to the goal of reaching space.
Another project is Icarus, where the team is developing active control systems for the rockets. The goal of Icarus is to achieve controlled, vertical landings similar to SpaceX's reusable rocket technology.
Finally, SpaceRace is the educational initiative of the association, designed to teach new members everything they need to know about rocketry. This project ensures that the next generation of students is equipped with the knowledge and skills to contribute to future projects.
