Ongoing Associative #Electronics #Mechanics #3D Printing #Artificial IntelligenceThe EPFL AI Team is a student association dedicated to exploring the potential of artificial intelligence through hands-on projects, collaboration, and innovation. We provide a space for students to work on cutting-edge AI technologies, while building a strong community around shared interests in AI and robotics.
Our current projects for Autumn 2024 include:
- GESTURE: Translating American Sign Language (ASL) into natural language using computer vision and NLP.
- BARK: Building a robot dog to test AI modules and navigate various terrains.
- T-RACE: Creating AI agents to race in a custom Trackmania environment.
- PAWS: Developing an AI walking system for BARK to handle different terrains.
Our Teams:
- Software Team: Coding and refining AI solutions with a focus on deep learning and reinforcement learning.
- Mechanical Team: Working on hardware, including 3D design, electronics, and microchips for our AI robots.
- Events Team: Organizing workshops, hackathons, and seminars with industry collaboration.
- Public Relations Team: Managing external communications, social media, video production, and graphic design.
- Other Roles:
- Treasurer: Managing finances, contracts, and payments.
- Secretary: Handling organizational and legal tasks, including meeting minutes and documentation.
